Splitting and joining segments

If you need to split a source segment, click in the desired location in the source column, right-click and select Split segment. The new segments created this way keep the segment number from the original segment but there is a letter added to signal that they used to belong to the same source segment.

To join source segments, select the desired segments by keeping the Ctrl key pressed and clicking the segment numbers on the left of the source column. Right-click and select Merge segments.

Note: Studio will only allow you to merge segments that are part of the same source text paragraph. If the segments you selected are not part of the same paragprah, the option to merge them will be greyed out.
