Checking and using TM/TB/MT matches

Checking and using TM/TB/MT matches

Under the Language Resources pane, you can see any hits from the TM (green for high fuzzy, yellow for low fuzzy), TB (grey), and MT (purple). Click a match to insert it into the target segment, or use a keyboard shortcut.

Terms included in the glossary are also shown in the source segment with a dotted line below. Hover over the word to see the translation and any other information that the glossary might contain on that term.

You can also run searches in the TB under the Glossary tab.

Depending on the project, you might have been given permissions to edit or add terms to the glossary, or your project instructions might specifically ask you to add translations for certain terms. However, if you haven't been explicitly asked to do so, always double-check with your PM whether you are allowed to add terms into the glossary or not, as some clients may have a specific process that we need to follow in order to get new terms accepted and included in their glossaries.
